Nissan has received a lot of publicity from the Juke-R concept, but a recent report is indicating the model was a rogue project and company executives aren't happy.

According to Autoblog, the British team created the Juke-R without approval from their Japanese overlords. Sources say the concept's construction and teaser campaign were a "complete surprise" and many executives were "put-off" by the fact that their flagship model was gutted to a make a high-performance crossover.
