General Motors has announced plans to introduce four vehicles at the North American International Auto Show.

Details are limited, but the company confirmed the 2013 Cadillac ATS will be one of the models on display. As Mary Barra, GM's Senior Vice President of Global Product Development, explained "[The] ATS is a crucial part of Cadillac's expansion" as it "enters the biggest market segment in the global luxury car industry, both in terms of volume and importance."

As we have previously reported, the ATS will be launched in summer of 2012. It will ride on a new rear-wheel drive platform and likely feature a turbocharged four-cylinder engine.
