Nissan has released the eighth installment of their series which chronicles the development of the Juke-R concept.

In the latest clip, engineers discuss the challenges of making the crossover handle like a GT-R. While this is no easy task, they added a roll cage to increase the vehicle's structural rigidity. The concept also has a unique suspension, with different springs and dampers, to compensate for the Juke-R's increased mass.

Besides the aforementioned modifications, the concept has the GT-R's all-wheel drive system and Brembo brakes.

As we have previously reported, the Juke-R features a twin-turbo 3.8-liter V6 engine with 480 hp (486 PS / 358 kW). It will begin testing later this month, so performance figures should be released shortly.
