Designed to slot between the Sonata and Genesis, the Azera has a 3.3-liter V6 engine with 293 hp (218 kW / 297 PS) and 255 lb-ft (345 Nm) of torque.

Following yesterday's teaser, Hyundai has officially unveiled the 2012 Azera.

Designed to slot between the Sonata and Genesis, the Azera has a fluidic sculpture design with xenon headlights, LED taillights and 18-inch alloy wheels.

Inside, the cabin is nicely equipped with heated leather seats, ambient lighting and GPS navigation. Options include a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats and a 12-speaker Infinity audio system.

Power comes from a 3.3-liter V6 engine with 293 hp (218 kW / 297 PS) and 255 lb-ft (345 Nm) of torque. It is connected to a six-speed automatic transmission which enables the sedan to return an estimated 20 mpg city / 29 mpg highway.
