Audi test driver gets caught in a traffic jam and stepped out of the car for a cigarette when our spy photographers snapped the interior shots.

Our spy photographers have managed to capture the next-generation Audi A3 again, this time with some clean shots of an undisguised interior.

Different prototypes of the 2013 Audi A3 were spotted testing, some with Xenon headlights and some without. When one test driver got caught in a heavy traffic jam and stepped out of the car for a cigarette, our spy photographers were able to take the interior shots as the driver door was left wide open. A sticker next to the gear shift says smoking is not allowed in the car.

The shots give us a clear view of the dashboard and instrument panel where we can also spot the Audi lane assist function.

Lots of details on the upcoming next-generation Audi A3 can be found in a previous story here.
