Simoncelli lost control of his motorbike on the second lap and slide into the path of two other riders.

MotoGP racer Marco Simoncelli has died in a crash at the Malaysian Grand Prix. He was 24.
The crash took place at the Sepang International Circuit on the second lap of the race. The Italian racer lost control of his Honda motorbike and slide across the track when he was hit by fellow riders Colin Edwards and Valentino Rossi. Simoncelli's helmet came off in the crash. An ambulance took him to the circuit's medical center where he was sadly pronounced dead.
The race was called-off after the accident.
