Chevrolet has announced the 2013 Camaro ZL1 Convertible will debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November.

Set to be launched late next year, the drop top has an aggressive body kit with a new front fascia, a ventilated hood and a revised grille. Additionally, to reduce cowl and steering wheel shake, engineers added a strut tower brace, a front "X" brace and a reinforced transmission support brace.

Like the coupe, the convertible has a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine with 580 hp (432 kW / 588 PS) and 556 lb-ft (754 Nm) of torque. It also has Magnetic Ride Control, Performance Traction Management and high-performance brakes.

In other news, Chevrolet has confirmed the Colorado will be built and sold in the United States. Additional information will be announced at a later date.
