Spanish automaker Seat is getting its own minicar based on the Volkswagen up! called the Mii.
Just days after Skoda unveiled the up!-based Citigo and skeptics bashed the first leaked image, Seat has its own Latin variant which will be a new entry-level model for the brand - the first minicar in the vehicle range since the Arosa (which was based on the VW Lupo) was discontinued back in 2005.
The Mii will come with a 1.0 liter, three-cylinder engine in two power configurations - 60 PS (44 kW / 60 hp) and 75 PS (55 kW / 75 hp). Two equipment packages are also available, Chic and Sport.
Special technology on the Mii includes the hybrid automatic gearbox with two electric motors that help smooth over the changes.
Also notable is the Seat Portable System which is a removable 5-inch (12.7 cm) device which serves as the navigation but also a hands-free phone and on-board computer.
