SEAT has released the first pictures of the 2012 Exeo facelift, ahead of its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

Looking more Audi-like, since it's based on the previous Audi A4 (B6) generation, the model gains a honeycomb grille, restyled wheels and new headlights with integrated LED daytime running lights.

Inside, the cabin boasts a redesigned steering wheel and upgraded seat upholstery.

Engine options carryover with minor changes for improved efficiency and reduced emissions. Unfortunately no further specs, but all TDI variants benefit from a decrease in CO2 emissions of around 7 g/km. Additionally, the Exeo Ecomotive gains start/stop technology.
