Production model based on the IPL G Convertible Concept will debut at the Los Angeles motor show in the fall.
Infiniti has announced at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance that the IPL G Convertible, on display there as a concept vehicle, will make it to production as a 2013 model.
The premium-brand's performance division (IPL) will likely keep the concept's 3.7-liter V6 with an output of 338 PS (249 kW / 333 hp) and 374 Nm (276 lb-ft) of torque.
The IPL G cabriolet will come with a three-piece folding hardtop, 19-inch IPL aluminum-alloy wheels, sport exhaust and suspension as well as a unique interior finish in red-leather and an outside paint in Malbec Black.
The production 2013 IPL G Convertible will debut at the Los Angeles auto show in November and goes on sale sometime next year.
