The 50th anniversary of the Jaguar E-Type is underway and the Silverstone Classic has just broken the Guinness World Record for hosting the "largest parade of Jaguar cars."

With 767 E-types in attendance, the event was a stunning success as owners traveled from as far away as Mexico and Australia. Among the notable models present was a 1960 prototype (9600 HP), the oldest production roadster (77 RW) and the recently restored Lindner/Nocker racer.

According to event director Nick Wigley, "It was an incredible sight to see so many examples of the beautiful and iconic E-type four abreast stretching all around the full Silverstone Grand Prix circuit."
