The bastardization of the Gordini name continues as Renault has announced plans to extend the moniker to non-RS Clios.

Designed for people "who have no desire to own an overly sporty vehicle," the new Gordini is based on the Clio GT and features a modest body kit, Glacier White accents, a dual exhaust system and 16-inch alloy wheels.

Inside, there's two-tone seats, gloss black trim and alloy pedals. Other goodies include automatic climate control, TomTom Live navigation and unique floor mats.

Under the hood, two engines are available. The 1.6-liter petrol produces 128 PS (94 kW / 126 hp), while the 1.5-liter diesel develops 105 PS (77 kW / 104 hp).

The car is currently available for order in France and pricing starts at €18,450.
