Envisioned as an affordable electric vehicle, the MUTE has a 10 kWh lithium-ion battery which sends power to a 16.5 kW (22 hp / 22 PS) electric motor.
The Technical University of Munich has announced plans to introduce the MUTE concept at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
Envisioned as an affordable electric vehicle, the concept has a 10 kWh lithium-ion battery which motivates a 22 PS (16.5 kW / 22 hp) electric motor that distributes power to the rear wheels via a torque vectoring differential. This setup enables the 500 kg (1,100 lb) MUTE to accelerate from 0-60 km/h (37 mph) in 6.8 seconds and hit a top speed of 120 km/h (75 mph).
Additional information will be released when the car is unveiled in September.
