Driver runs from buring V8 Supercar in Australian race [video]

Holden Commodore bursts into a giant fireball when its fuel-cell is punctured in a collision at a 2011 V8 Supercars race in Perth, Australia.

Here's a video of a rather spectacular explosion at the Perth round of the 2011 V8 Supercars challenge in Australia.

A Holden Commodore driven by Karl Reindler explodes into a large fireball when a collision with another driver, Steve Owen, punctured Reindler's fuel cell.

Luckily, both drivers involved came away from the incident with only minor injuries.

But we can see how Reindler struggles to get out of the burning car for a few very tense moments and then has to roll on the ground to make sure any flames on his protective suit are out.
