Taiwanese-based Luxgen has unveiled the Neora concept at Auto Shanghai 2011.

Resembling a Volt-ified Hyundai Sonata, the concept has an attractive design with LED headlights, a panoramic glass sunroof and gently sweeping character lines.

Inside, the cabin is elegantly appointed with leather upholstery, wood trim, a head-up display, and an infotainment system with a nine-inch screen.

Motivation is provided by a 48 kWh lithium-ion battery which sends power to a 180 kW (241 hp / 245 PS) electric motor that turns the front wheels. Thanks to this setup, Luxgen says the 1,600 kg (3,527 lb) concept can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 6.5 seconds, hit a top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph) and travel up 400 km (249 miles) on a single charge.
