Fiat has released the first pictures of the US-spec 500C, ahead of its debut at the New York Auto Show.

Looking virtually identical to the European version, the American-bound model will offer a choice of 14 exterior colors, three soft-top designs, and 12 upholstery options.

Like the 500 coupe, power will be provided by a 1.4-liter MultiAir engine that develops 101 hp (75 kW / 102 PS) and 98 lb-ft (133 Nm) of torque. It can be paired to a five-speed manual or an optional six-speed automatic.

Additional information will be released on April 21st, so stay tuned for full details.
