Designed to be the ultimate man van, the SSV is powered by a 3.2-liter five-cylinder diesel engine that develops 200 PS (147 kW / 197 hp) and 470 Nm (347 lb-ft) of torque.

Ford has unveiled the one-off Transit SuperSportVan (SSV) ahead of its debut at the Commercial Vehicle Show in Birmingham, England.

Designed to be the ultimate man van, the SSV is based on the short-wheelbase 260 model and features "Le Mans-style bonnet stripes," a dual exhaust system, and an aerodynamic body kit. While performance specifications weren't released, power is provided by a 3.2-liter five-cylinder diesel engine that develops 200 PS (147 kW / 197 hp) and 470 Nm (347 lb-ft) of torque.

Besides the SSV, Ford will also display the Transit Connect Electric that will be launched in the United Kingdom in June. As we have previously reported, the van has a 28 kWh lithium-ion battery which enables it to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 12 seconds, hit a top speed of 120 km/h (75 mph) and travel up to 130 km (80 miles) on a single charge.
