To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Monte Carlo rally, Skoda has announced plans to introduce a special edition Fabia named after the legendary race.

Decked out in black accents, the unique model boasts smoked headlights, a sport suspension, and 16-inch lightweight alloy wheels.

Inside, the cabin features sport seats, a perforated leather steering wheel (with red stitching), silver kick plates and alloy pedals.

Under the hood, a variety of different engines will available. The entry-level 1.2-liter petrol produces 69 PS (51 kW / 68 hp), while the 1.2-liter TSI cranks out 86 PS (63 kW / 85 hp) and 105 PS (77 kW / 104 hp). If you're a diesel fan, the 1.6-liter TDI offers 75 PS (55 kW / 74 hp) or 105 PS (77 kW / 104 hp).

The car will be unveiled later this month in Monte Carlo, before its public debut at the Geneva Motor Show.
