European Dodge lovers can breathe a sigh of relief as a new report is indicating the facelifted Journey will be sold on the other side of the Atlantic.

Set to be branded as a Fiat, the Euro-spec Journey will reportedly be called the Freemont. It is slated to replace the slow-selling Ulysse and will likely undergo some minor design changes (new bumpers, grille, headlights...etc) to mimic the rest of the Fiat lineup.

Under the hood, the Chrysler powerplants will carryover but a Fiat-sourced 2.0-liter diesel will also be available. Details are limited, but it is expected to produce 168 hp (125 kW / 170 PS) and 360 Nm (270 lb-ft) of torque.

The Freemont is scheduled to debut at the Geneva Motor Show, before going on sale in June.
