According to a recent report, Ford will introduce a new crossover concept at the North American International Auto Show.

Details are scare, but an Automotive News source has revealed the vehicle will be a thinly-veiled concept which will eventually go into production as the Kuga/Escape replacement. It will reportedly be built in Saarlouis, Germany and Louisville, Kentucky starting in late 2012.

The crossover will be underpinned by the global C platform, which is also used on the C-Max and Focus.  No word on what will provide motivation, but expect engine options to mirror those available in the Focus.
