New J2X comes with a GM-sourced Ram Jet V8 producing 350 bhp (261 kW/ 355 PS) and more than 400 lb ft of torque (542 Nm).
The Allard J2X Mk II is coming to Europe.
U.K.-based Premium Classic Cars will be the Canadian-built Allard J2X's distributor in Europe.
If you don't recall the original Allard J2X, well, it was a long time ago and only 83 units of the car were ever made during its 1951-1954 production run. The original car came with a U.S.-sourced V8 and was driven by the likes of Carroll Shelby and Steve McQueen, a speed enthusiast his whole life.
This new J2X comes fitted with a Ram Jet V8 from GM producing 350 bhp (261 kW/ 355 PS) and more than 400 lb-ft of torque (542 Nm).
More specs will be announced later.
The car can be seen on display at the Premium Classic Cars stand at the NEC Classic Motor Show this weekend (the 12th to the 14th of November) in Birmingham, U.K.
Price is expected to be around £95,000/€111,550.
