Porsche has announced that the 911 GT2 RS is sold out - less than two months after the model was introduced at the Moscow Auto Salon on August 25.

The Stuttgart-based automaker also proudly posted the news on its Twitter feed.

The Porsche 911 GT2 RS is a special edition supercar that comes with a twin-turbocharged (with variable turbine geometry - VTG) 3.6 liter six-cylinder boxer engine producing a total of 620 PS (462 kW). 0 to 100 km/h is achieved in 3.5 seconds.

The GT2 RS was limited to a series of just 500 units but with a sale price of €237,578 in Germany and $245,000 (€193,000) in the U.S. market, it still sold out quite quickly.
