Our spy photographers have managed to catch the first images of the facelifted 2012 Mercedes C63 AMG Estate.
Undergoing testing on a rainy day, the car features redesigned bumpers, slimmer headlights and revised mirrors. Furthermore, the grille is more prominent and wedge-shaped with one horizontal bar instead of two (a cue from the SLS AMG).
Like the regular C-Class, the C63 will benefit from a vastly improved interior which has a new instrument cluster, a revised center stack, and an integrated COMAND display.
Under the hood, power will likely be provided by a 6.3-liter (6208cc) V8 engine with 451 hp (336 kW / 457 PS) and 443 lb-ft (600 Nm) of torque. The C63 AMG Coupe will offer an optional performance package which increases output to approximately 480 hp (358 kW / 487 PS), so it we wouldn't be suspired if it is available on the Estate as well.
