Days after unveiling the GranTurismo MC Stradale in Paris, Maserati has released a new video which shows the car in action.
Designed to be the "fastest, lightest and most powerful car in the Maserati range," the Stradale features an aerodynamic body kit, a sportier suspension, Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes, and specially-developed Pirelli tires. Furthermore, thanks to carbon fiber racing seats and the deletion of the rear seats, the coupe weighs 1770kg (3,902 lbs) which is 110kg (243 lbs) less than the GranTurismo S.
Under the hood, power is provided by a 4.7-liter V8 engine with 450 PS (330 kW / 444 hp) and 510 Nm (376 lb-ft) of torque. It is connected to an upgraded MC Race Shift transmission that enables the car to accelerate from 0-100km/h in 4.6 seconds and hit a top speed in excess of 300 km/h (186 mph).
