Audi has pulled the wraps off the 2011 A1 1.4 TFSI, the car long believed to be the S1.

Audi has unveiled new details about the range-topping A1 1.4 TFSI.

While it doesn't wear the S1 moniker, the car features a four-cylinder petrol engine with 136 kW (185 PS / 182 hp) and 250 Nm (184 lb-ft) of torque. Backed up by a seven-speed S tronic dual-clutch transmission, the A1 accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 6.9 seconds and has a top speed of 227 km/h (141 mph). In terms of efficiency, average fuel consumption is 5.9 L/100km (40 US mpg) and CO2 emissions are 139 g/km (224 g/mile).

Exterior styling features include the S-line package and 17-inch alloy wheels. Inside, there's manual air conditioning, LED lighting, "mono.pur colored" trim, and a black headliner.

On sale later this year, the A1 1.4 TFSI will be priced from €24,250 in Germany.
