Toyota has announced plans to introduce the RAV4 EV at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
While details are limited, the model was jointly developed with Tesla as part of their $50 million dollar agreement. In the past, Tesla's CEO has promised the RAV4 will have "...range and acceleration exceeding that of other announced electric vehicles of this class."
Set to become one of the first electric crossovers on the market, the RAV4 EV will go on sale in 2012.
