Our spy photographers have caught the 2012 Range Rover Evoque five-door undergoing testing on the Nurburgring.

While heavily camouflaged, the five-door model will be virtually identical to the three-door Evoque. The only difference, obviously, is the addition of two rear doors.

Land Rover has been mum on details, but engine options are expected to include a 2.2-liter four-cylinder turbodiesel, a 3.2-liter petrol inline six, and possibly a hybrid 2.0-liter turbodiesel. Front-wheel drive will be standard and all-wheel drive will be optional.

The three-door Evoque will make its public debut at the Paris Motor Show, so expect more information to be released in September.
