Thanks to a Car Magazine reader, the world has been blessed with several images of the facelifted 2011 Land Rover Freelander / LR2.

Taken from an Italian brochure, the pictures reveal the freshened model will receive a modified front bumper, a Range Rover-inspired grille, and restyled taillights. While no interior pictures were released, we can expect minor revisions and higher quality materials.

Under the hood, the 2.2-liter turbodiesel will likely be upgraded to provide improved performance. The availability of engine start / stop systems will also be expanded to models with automatic transmissions.

Look for more information to be released when the 2011 Freelander is unveiled at the Moscow Motor Show in August.
