New CLS is expected to debut at the Paris motor show in September. As for the overall styling, the new CLS features the curved, deepened, horizontal grooves along the body lines as seen in the current C-Class and E-Class models.

Here is a teaser sketch by German tuner Lorinser of a styling program for the upcoming 2012 Mercedes-Benz CLS.

Now, we have yet to see how the 2012 CLS will actually look like itself entirely, but we previously covered some spy shots to go along with this styling sketch to get a good enough idea - though, it's hard to distinguish with certainty which part this CLS sketch is Mercedes and what details are Lorinser's own styling contributions.

What we see here is also consistent with the front fascia of the CLS we've spotted before - with the new headlights, single-bar radiator grille and the three-part bumper with integrated LED daytime running lights.

As for the overall styling, the new CLS features the curved, deepened, horizontal grooves along the body lines as seen in the current C-Class and E-Class models that are the mark of Mercedes's current design paradigm. Those design lines give the CLS an even more aggressive-looking stance than the model's previous iteration.

The new Mercedes-Benz CLS is expected to debut at the Paris motor show in September.  We expect Lorinser to release real photos shorty after.
