Lexus Hybrid Bicycle Concept visits the UK

Lexus has announced plans to bring the Hybrid Bicycle concept to the Great British Bike Ride.

Originally unveiled at the 2009 Tokyo Motor Show, the bike features a 240W electric motor and a 25.9V lithium-ion battery. The motor has two modes (Eco and Power) and the battery is recharged by regenerative braking. Other goodies include all-wheel drive, an electric eight-speed transmission, and carbon fiber construction.

While we're not sure what the point is, Lexus has just made the Honda U3-X a lot more attractive.
