While details are scare, the MPV will likely be based on the Orlando. It will likely be powered by a 120 kW (161 hp / 163 PS) electric motor and a 16-kWh lithium-ion battery.
Several patent drawings have surfaced showing a Chevrolet Volt MPV.
While details are scare, the MPV, pictured above in a screenshot taken from a leaked video from last year, will likely be based on the Orlando (pictured next to it). It will feature Volt styling cues (grille, headlights, and taillights) and a shorter wheelbase. Inside, we can expect a Volt-derived interior with seating for four or five.
Power will likely be provided by a 120 kW (161 hp / 163 PS) electric motor and a 16-kWh lithium-ion battery. Once the battery is depleted, a range-extending 1.4-liter petrol engine will kick in to provide additional power.
Look for a possible unveiling at the Beijing Motor Show.
