The 550i Gran Turismo will start at $64,725 and the ActiveHybrid X6 goes for $89,725.
BMW has announced US pricing information for the 550i Gran Turismo and the ActiveHybrid X6.
Packing a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, with 400 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque, the 550i GT will carry a base price of $64,725. Packages include active ventilated-seats ($2,950), a back-up camera ($750), the convenience package ($1,900), the cold weather package ($950), the driver assistance package ($1,350), the luxury rear seating package ($3,950), the premium sound package ($1,400), the Nappa leather package ($1,000) and the sport package ($4,200). Among the individual options are 20-inch wheels ($1,000), power rear side window shades ($500), active steering ($1,750), multi-contour seats ($1,300), satellite radio ($350), a rear seat entertainment system ($2,200), smartphone integration ($150), a four-zone automatic climate control system ($500), ceramic-finished control knobs ($650), iPod and USB connectivity ($400), a head-up display ($1,300), and a night vision system with pedestrian detection ($2,600).
On the other hand, the ActiveHybrid X6 costs a whopping $89,725 (the same price as the X6 M). To help make up for this massive price tag, BMW equipped the crossover with Nappa leather upholstery, 20-inch 'Aero' wheels, a rear view camera, a head-up display, a power tailgate, a premium sound system (with iPod and USB connectivity), comfort access (a passive entry system), a four-zone climate control system, privacy glass and ambiance lighting. Should that fail to impress you, BMW offers an active ventilated-seat package ($1,100), a cold weather package ($900), rear side window shades ($300), automatic high-beams ($250), satellite radio ($350), a rear seat entertainment system ($1,700), and smartphone integration ($150).
Both the ActiveHybrid X6 and 550i Gran Turismo will go on sale December 5th.
