Cimex Conin Concept from Mexico Announced

Designed and engineered in Mexico, the Conin is a sport-utility truck (SUT) with bold styling and a functional design.

Cimex (Carrocerias e Ingenieria Mexicana aka Bodies and Mexican Engineering) has unveiled renderings of their upcoming Conin Concept.

Designed and engineered in Mexico, the Conin is a modern day sport-utility truck (SUT) with bold styling and a functional design. Looking like a cross between a Jeep Wrangler and a Hummer H3T, the truck features rugged construction, huge bumpers, and a hood scoop.

While details are limited, the Conin will be available with either rear-wheel or four-wheel drive. Power will be provided by a variety of "low displacement" petrol and diesel engines, which promise to be fuel efficient and eco-friendly.

For those of us who aren't Mexican automotive aficionados, Cimex has been operating in the State of Querétaro since 1988. The company does everything from foreign bus conversions to building street cars for the Mexican Republic.
