Audi A4 allroad lovers can now see their car in mild action on and off the road in this promotional video clip. The car launches this summer in Europe.
Over what looks like the plains, mountain passes and beaches of southern Africa (probably Namibia) the Audi allroad quattro was put through its paces. This video is part of the car's promotional package as Audi gets ready to launch it over this European summer.
The new A4 allroad is a cross between an A4 Avant (wagon) and an SUV. Previously Audi had offered only the A6 in the allroad raised body style. Flared wheel arches, stainless steel underbody guards, fog lights, a roof rack, angular sills and a raised ride height are some of the typical allroad traits found in the A4 allroad.
Audi will launch the A4 with three engines, one petrol and two turbo diesels. The petrol car offers 155kW (211hp) and 350Nm of torque through its 2.0-litre TFSI engine. Maximum torque of 350Nm is produced by the 2.0-litre TDI alongside 125kW (170hp) while the 3.0-litre TDI's figures are 176kW (240hp) and 500Nm.
