Bentley will have more horsepower than Continental GT Speed, currently its most powerful car on the road. Auto Telegraaf reports that the rear seats have been removed for weight saving purposes. Which really is unbecoming a Bentley. Right?
Lux automaker Bentley will be unveiling "The fastest. Most powerful Bentley. Ever." (punctuation as per the British luxury brand) at the Geneva auto show next month.
What news is available is minimal. The W12 bi-turbo engine will come with 630 hp and makes the 0 to 100 km/h sprint in about 4 seconds. This Bentley sports 30 hp more than the Continental GT Speed, currently Bentley most powerful offering on the road.
Autowereld reports that the rear seats have been removed for weight saving purposes. Which really isn't right for a Bentley. Yes? You remove the back seat of a Clio to make it go faster. Such conduct really seems unbecoming a luxury automaker such as Bentley. But these are desperate times.
We will have to wait for Geneva for more news. Or for Bentley to confirm or correct for us whatever it is up to here. Hey, why don't they hang a set of fluffy white dice from the rear-view mirror while they're at it?
